Instagram Highlights Downloader for Direct Highlight Links

The Instagram Highlights Downloader accepts a direct public Highlight URL. An Instagram profile can contain several Highlights and does not identify one collection, so profile URLs are recognized but not downloaded.

Open the specific Highlight and use Instagram's share or copy-link action. A supported link typically contains /stories/highlights/ followed by a Highlight identifier. If you only paste instagram.com/username, the tool will ask for a direct media link.

A Highlight is a collection of Story items selected by the account owner. It can contain photos, videos, or both. When the source returns multiple files, SaveStory lists them separately so you can choose the items you want.

The downloader does not scan unrelated profile content or promise that every historical item will be available. Older media may already be compressed or unavailable from the accessible source.

Highlights can remain on a profile longer than regular Stories, but they are not guaranteed to be permanent. The owner can remove an item, delete the Highlight, make the account private, or otherwise change access.

SaveStory cannot download private or account-restricted Highlights, restore removed items, or bypass Instagram permissions. It does not require your Instagram password and you should never provide one.

Returned photos and videos use the best available versions the service can access. This is not a guarantee of a fixed resolution, an uncompressed original, or complete audio. Source and regional restrictions can affect the result.

The tool works in modern browsers on iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows. Downloading public media does not grant ownership or reuse rights; save or republish Highlight items only when you own them or have permission from the rights holder.
