Instagram Photo Downloader for Posts and Carousels

The Instagram Photo Downloader accepts direct links to public photo posts and carousel posts. A single-photo post normally returns one available image. A carousel can return several photos or a mixture of photos and videos, depending on the post.

SaveStory shows returned items separately. It does not crawl a profile or guess which image you intended to download, so always copy the URL from the specific post.

A screenshot captures what is displayed on your screen, including any crop, interface elements, or device scaling. A direct download saves the image file made available by the source. That generally avoids the extra loss introduced by taking and cropping a screenshot.

SaveStory returns the best image version it can access for the submitted post. It does not promise the camera original, a fixed pixel size, or an uncompressed file. The result depends on the creator's upload and the version Instagram makes available.

The tool does not enlarge or sharpen images after download. If a post is private, deleted, restricted, or unavailable to the service, its photo cannot be recovered here.

On Android, check the Downloads folder or browser download list. On iPhone or iPad, check Safari downloads and the Files app; your browser may also offer a Save to Photos action. Desktop browsers use their configured download folder.

Downloading a public image does not transfer copyright or permission to republish it. Save and reuse only photos you own or are authorized to use.
